The original Guedo's at the South East Corner of Chandler Boulevard and Arizona Avenue
in Chandler, an adobe building, houses Guedo's Taco Shop.

Guedo's has been voted "Best Of Phoenix" several times since it opened in 1985.

Guedo's is a real gem of authentic Mexican soul food.

The entries are few and basic:
Quesadillas, Tacos, Burros, a Mexican sandwich "Torta", an elemental flan with custard and vanilla, "Kalouie".

What sets Guedo's apart is an obsession with freshness and high quality of the ingredients. The beef is top sirloin Angus, the soft flour tortillas are homemade, the beans ~ ranch style ~ are made fresh daily, the lemonade is freshly squeezed. Every entree is individually made. The salsa bar is is inviting with cilantro, radishes, onions, lime and the Homemade Salsas: Tomatillo, Chunky Mild Salsa & the Red Hot Salsa

Guedo, This is just a place holder - I plan on putting a shot from inside the restaurant here.

The interior has a relaxed "funky" atmosphere. The walls are full of photographs and heterogeneous mix of souvenirs and mementos. A bright neon sign co-exists with a stuffed hen losing feathers fast.

Salsa music is blasting through the speakers while the cook is singing along, banging pots and pans.
